Purchasing & Stock control coordinator – 19088744
£22,000 - £25,000 per annum

The aim of the role is to work with the company contacts (including finance, sales, marketing and publishing to ensure that products and services are efficiently procured, stock controlled and that expected levels of quality and supplier service standards are achieved.
The responsibilities are to monitor by computer and proactive liaison that stock on hand (made up as selling lines or free stock components) will meet the following three months sales
Monitor sales movements to identify slow moving stocks.
Raise on FMP product purchase orders with accurate delivery dates, monitor supplier performance against agreed delivery dates. Advise management team and CS of any slippage. Ensure that all departmental spend meets the approved financial requirements.
Assist in ensuring the financial and schedule targets are achieved. Provide at month end stock reports for management reporting.
Liaise regularly with external suppliers and the production/publishing departments to ensure efficient seamless procurement is achieved.
To maintain al stock control files - correspondence, reports and purchase orders. To accurately check and update the product buy-in cost in FMP as new stocks are received, maintaining and updating accurate records of all adjustments
The purchasing and stock control coordinator may be required to work across several internal centers and also be able to complete supplier site visits on a regular basis.
You will need to have previous production/editorial experience as it is essential for this role together with current knowledge of pre-press process and digital workflows. General IT skills and experience of using Microsoft Office and internal business management.  Be a natural communicator that can demonstrate diplomacy but also authority in decision making. Excellent communication skills - both oral and written. Adaptive and able to solve problems.

Senior Technical Specialist Maintenance – 19064695
up to £26,000 per annum

A Senior Technical Specialist Maintenance person is required to support the maintenance team providing Expert knowledge in resolving technical problems on a range of machine control systems including Electrical. Pneumatic and Robotics systems.
Experience in the following technologies would be an advantage:
PLC's: Allen Bradley, Omron & Mitsubishi,
HMI's: including Proface and Keyence
Control Systems: Contactor logic safety relays, DeviceNet & ASilbus
Robotics: Motorman and Panasonic used for a range of MIG & resistance spot welding applications
Inverter Drives: Typical examples would include Yaskawa and Mitsubishi Inverters to drive motors and computer systems
ARC: ARC system which is interfaced with an IT Network and scheduling system
Improve equipment performance through projects
You will be competent in working with existing and new Technology and be able to develop training modules. Communicate at all levels using various means. Able to establish root cause of failure and CM and make decisions which will have a major impact on performance and business.

An experienced soldering operator is required to work for a successful specialist cable company.  Working individually but as part of a team you will be working to a high standard producing quality work. The role is to ensure that required parts are ordered from Japan and Asia regularly and Inventory is maintained at an agreed level.

The working day is 08:00 to 4:20.
A flexible attitude is important as the department is very busy and you will be required to work longer hours as required

A high potential purchasing professional is required. Capable of leading Strategic Procurement initiatives for an expanding group of companies across two UK sites and overseas. The Group are Tier 1 suppliers and have total sales of around £11M but the board are committed to tripling sales over the next 6 years. The successful candidate will have the ambition and potential to grow in this role and to assume increasing responsibility as the company grows.
The essential roles for the job are:
Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably also with some engineering experience and the ability to read engineering drawings
Experience of purchasing electronics/plastics/engineered parts
Experience of managing other buyers, or the ambition and personal qualities to assume a first leadership role
The ability to travel frequently within and outside the UK

The job role is to support new model and strategic cost planning activity. Including cost analysis and calculation. Obtaining and providing information to Japan and translation of documentation.
Candidate Requirements

Experience of new model calculations and costs
Experience within an automotive or manufacturing environment would be an advantage together with supplier/purchasing experience.

The job role is provide technical, marketing and general support in relation to the products and services offered by Tax and Trusts.
Contribute towards the development and implementations of products and services within both the Tax and Trusts and other teams within Business Development. Continue to develop expertise and knowledge in the fields of taxation, trusts and financial services, together with products and services offered by other providers in the market.
Main Job functions are to participate in the operation of the Tax and Trusts helpdesk as well as responding to emails, faxes, memos and letters. This should be done in a timely fashion and within agreed timescales

The role is to provide advice to the company via the helplines, post or e-mails on a range of plans. The advice will cover technical issue, best advice issues, sales process, sales and marketing ideas.
To promote, where possible, retirement planning solutions to the company and to ensure they have appropriate  and high quality supporting material for the range of retirement planning services that they offer.
This includes: The production of printed literature and publications, items that appear on the intranet and other ad-hoc communications
To maintain market awareness of the retirement planning market and to ensure that knowledge of the competition is maintained
Essential skills for the role are to have relevant knowledge of the pensions industry together with a good technical knowledge. In addition you should be able to answer queries either from advisors or clients on pension related issues.
The most important skill is the ability to communicate well whilst being strong enough to deliver difficult messages.
A minimum of FPC 3 is required and working towards or have achieved full Diploma status.
You may also be required to present to audiences e.g. location based workshops when operating at the upper level of the role
